College of Pharmacy Immunization Delivery Program

APhA’s Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate training program is based on national educational standards for immunization training from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This practice-based curriculum represents a fusion of science and clinical pharmacy. The program, which emphasizes a health care team approach, seeks to foster the implementation of interventions that will promote disease prevention and public health. The purpose of this certificate training program is to prepare pharmacists with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to provide immunization services to patients across the life span. The Seventh Dr. Robert L. Austin Endowed Lectureship

Professor Masten will discuss risk and protective factors for behavioral health and development of children exposed to the cascading and multifaceted threats of COVID-19. Drawing on advances in resilience theory and research, she will present a contemporary systems definition of resilience and its translational implications for practice and interventions to reduce risk and promote positive development in children during perilous times. Estate Planning Webinars: Basics of Estate Planning

The first webinar will provide the basics of estate planning: emphasize the need for having a will and/or trust; the difference between wills and trusts; the role of executors and trustees; how retirement plans function in concert with your estate planning documents; planning for incapacity and preparing health care directives; planning for heirs, be they minors or adults; and what to do before meeting with legal counsel to implement your plan.
