The College of Dental Medicine Student Emergency Fund was created to assist students facing unexpected financial challenges. As a College, we are deeply committed to meeting student needs through support, guidance, and emergency funding to help them navigate these challenges.

College of Dental Medicine General Scholarship Fund
You can also give to support student scholarships directly. Your direct support of student scholarships provides our students with increased opportunities for focused areas of study. You can give to the general scholarship fund, or set specific criteria for areas of your choice you like. Scholarships can be year to year or at the $20,000+ level can be permanently endowed to provide ongoing perpetual support.

College of Dental Medicine Discretionary Fund
This fund helps advance the highest needs of the college while also providing resources to react to unexpected opportunities. This fund enhances student scholarship support, student travel to conventions and research conferences, selected faculty travel, and continuing education beyond the normal stipend they receive.
This fund also helps toward bringing highly regarded speakers to campus for seminars and special on-campus events.

Perfecto Torres Memorial Scholarship
On behalf of the Enriquez and Torres Family, this scholarship is created in memory of Perfecto "Tony" Torres. The scholarship was created to encourage students to pursue their dental education and practice in a humanistic manner by providing needed financial support.

The Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award is presented each spring to a senior dental student who has demonstrated excellence in pediatric dentistry and has exhibited professionalism, empathy, and compassion in caring for the pediatric and/or special needs populations.
