College of Optometry Discretionary Fund
This fund helps advance the highest needs of the college while also providing resources to react to unexpected opportunities. This fund enhances student scholarship support, student travel to conventions and research conferences, selected faculty travel, and continuing education beyond the normal stipend they receive.
This fund also helps toward bringing highly regarded speakers to campus for seminars and special on-campus events.

You can also give to support student scholarships directly. Your direct support of student scholarships provides our students with increased opportunities for focused areas of study. You can give to the general scholarship fund, or set specific criteria for areas of your choice you like. Scholarships can be year to year or at the $20,000+ level can be permanently endowed to provide ongoing perpetual support.

For a 4th year optometry student who ranked in the top 25% of the class and who has demonstrated participation in the political process promoting the profession of optometry at the state, local or national levels.
